Cripps Harries Hall

Retail & shopping centres

We have a dedicated shopping centre team that is immersed in that business, alongside lawyers who act for well-known retailers.

What we do

The full range of commercial property services - buying, selling, granting and taking leases, and all associated property management - alongside colleagues who specialise in planning, construction and property dispute resolution.

Our clients

Property investor clients who own shopping centres and retail parks. Well known High Street retailers and restaurants.

Why Cripps Harries Hall?

There are features of shopping centre and retail work that set it apart. It is a relatively small market and the players know one another. We are members of the British Council of Shopping Centres. Some of us have been involved in shopping centre work for over 20 years.

There is more intensive management than with other kinds of property. We regularly attend letting and management meetings. We visit the centres, and get to know centre staff.

There is also opportunity for lawyers to make a difference - by simpler forms of lease, by prompt and proactive action, by getting to know and working alongside the letting agents and property managers.

We offer fixed fees for many transactions.
