What we do
When you are separating and have children you (and they) may need help and advice to come to terms with the emotional and legal issues involved.
We give advice on the law relating to children.
When a relationship breaks down the main questions are:
- Who will look after the children and where will they live - residence (previously known as "custody")
- What contact will the other parent have - contact (previously known as "access")
The problems can be particularly difficult when one parent decides to live abroad.
Why Cripps Harries Hall?
Our lawyers belong to Resolution, an organisation committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. It's a non-confrontational approach, considering the needs of the whole family and especially the interests of children. Members of our team are accredited by Resolution as specialists in dealing with children's issues and highly commended for the way we care for our clients.
We have good relations with independent counsellors who can help manage emotional issues.
We aim to give practical advice that focusses on the needs of your children.
