- Respresenting a claimant who sustained serious and complex injuries arising from a road traffic accident. The claim settled for a sum in excess of £150k.
- Representing a claimant in respect of a catastrophic clinical negligence claim which has left the individual wheelchair bound. Claim is in excess of £500,000.
- Representing a claimant in an employers liability claim. The case involved complex liability issues and quantification of the claimant's claim, to include a Smith and Manchester award and a potential future loss of earnings claim.
- Representing large UK companies in numerous complex and high value defendant personal injury claims both in the County Court and High Court (including employers and public liability claims, stress at work, industrial disease and fatal accident claims).
- Representing a large city corporate client in defending a public liability claim. The case was complex requiring large scale evidential and disclosure exercises, together with the assessment of liability involving four parties, sub-contractors and agents.
- Representing an elderly client who suffered significant injuries as a result of an accident caused by a fatally injured driver. The complex case included attending the Coroner's inquest, the use of the Rehabilitation Code and setting up a personal injury trust. Substantial damages recovered.
- Representing a claimant who sustained a serious back injury in a high speed road traffic accident. The claim involved complicated medical evidence and a substantial claim for loss of earnings which involved the instruction of an expert forensic accountant. The claim ultimately settled for £170,000.
- Representing claimants in relation to a successful claim for compensation following the death of their newborn child.
- Representing a claimant who sustained serious injuries in a car accident in France.
