Cripps Harries Hall

Property finance

Obtaining finance can be difficult in the current climate but once obtained you need lawyers who can deliver swift and pragmatic advice.

What we do

Our team advises on funding of commercial property, including conventional facilities secured on property as well as corporate based finance.  We understand the wide variety of security documents that banks may require, such as inter-group charges, charges over rent accounts and deeds of priority between lenders. The team acts for both lenders and borrowers, providing advice on loan documentation and due diligence.

We have experience in helping clients secure finance for construction work including step in rights for the bank.  Our lawyers are used to working in multidisciplinary teams alongside banks, private equity houses, venture capitalists and other professional advisers.  The team also has general finance experience including public and private fundraising of both equity and debt.

Our clients

Our clients include medium and large national and international companies, banks and private equity houses as well as a wide spectrum of property investment clients from local organisations to some of the largest property investment companies and institutions in the country.

Why Cripps Harries Hall?

Our multidisciplinary team understand property and corporate finance.  We work collaboratively with other advisers and provide a pragmatic, realistic and responsive approach.  We know how difficult finding funding can be and it is our job to ensure that once funding is secured we make sure that the transaction concludes as swiftly as possible.
