What we do
We help you through the process of buying and developing land for housing, both private and affordable. Our involvement extends from the point you identify a site to completion of plot sales.
We deal with purchases and sales of land and buildings, options and conditional contracts. We identify legal constraints that could prevent development and find solutions to overcome them. Rights of light, restrictive covenants, party walls, rights of way and services, town and village greens - these are the types of issue we address. We handle the planning, highways and infrastructure agreements required for development.
We help negotiate agreements to share in future revenues, producing joint venture and other risk sharing arrangements.
Our team includes lawyers with a background of working in-house for housebuilders and developers, others with specialist knowledge of the planning system and some who major in construction.
Our experience of the housebuilding sector gives us a true insight to the challenges and issues faced by those who build and develop the homes of the future.
Our clients
Our clients include land promoters, developers, housebuilders, housing associations and landowners.
