• Representing a claimant in an employers liability claim. The case involved complex liability issues and quantification of the claimant's claim, to include a Smith and Manchester award and a potential future loss of earnings claim.
• Representing large UK companies in numerous complex and high value defendant personal injury claims both in the County Court and High Court (including employers and public liability claims, stress at work, industrial disease and fatal accident claims).
• Representing a large city corporate client in defending a public liability claim. The case was complex requiring large scale evidential and disclosure exercises, together with the assessment of liability involving four parties, sub-contractors and agents.
• Settling a complex MIB case under the Uninsured Driver' Agreement 1999. Settlement of the case followed complex causation and quantum analysis.
• Representing an elderly client who suffered significant injuries as a result of an accident caused by a fatally injured driver. The complex case included attending the Coroner's inquest, the use of the Rehabilitation Code and setting up a personal injury trust. Substantial damages recovered.
