  • Respresenting a claimant who sustained serious and complex injuries arising from a road traffic accident. The claim settled for a sum in excess of £150k.
  • Representing a claimant in respect of a catastrophic clinical negligence claim which has left the individual wheelchair bound. Claim is in excess of £500,000.
  • Compromising a complex proprietary estoppel claim brought by a very elderly claimant seeking an interest in his partner's estate.
  • Acting for a client in a complex Inheritance Act dispute requiring an application to the Probate Registry to cancel a grant of probate improperly obtained and negotiating with multi party defendants in numerous jurisdictions.
  • Defending a challenge to a £2m estate involving minors and complex business assets for the children of a prominent local businessman.
  • Successfully mediating a complex multi-party dispute concerning an estate valued at £6m. Claims from the parties involved promissory and proprietary estoppel, Inheritance Act claims, removal and appointment of alternative executors, rectification of Wills, claims of undue influence and off-shore asset tracing.
  • Defending and compromising a complex Will dispute involving six separate parties to a £2m estate. The estate included a business and concerned a family's legacy to that business. A trial was avoided with the claimant settling for significantly less than had been sought.
  • Defending a complex long running dispute involving multiple claims against an estate worth in excess of £1m. Challenging the validity of a Will, bringing an Inheritance Act claim, seeking re-constitution of an alleged destroyed Will, claiming a constructive trust and involving issues going back some 17 years giving rise to the doctrine of laches.
