I am a partner and head of the family team with 25 years’ experience in family law.
I am passionate about helping my clients move on to where they want to be in their lives. I act for people from all walks of life, giving clear outcome-focused advice that enables them to make the best decisions in their divorce or separation.
I also write and advise on prenuptial, postnuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements.
I regularly act for people in disputes over children as well as advising on cases involving domestic violence and abuse.
I count myself fortunate in having a job I genuinely love. Even though the circumstances of many of the cases I work on are challenging, I find something very positive in helping people get through, what is often, the darkest part of their life and find their better future.

My experience
Representing a party in a heavily contested and complex Children Act proceedings requiring a challenge of expert evidence and reports.
Instructed on behalf of a business man in respect of injunction proceedings with the family and criminal court, financial provision claim, child maintenance tribunal and possession proceedings. All applications arose from a relationship with former partner.
Acting on behalf of a mid 30 year old to prepare a pre-nuptial agreement to protect a substantial inheritance held in various trust structures – valued in excess of £20m.
Represented the wife in the case of Hamilton v Hamilton [2013] concerning the law on variation of lump sums payable in instalments.
