Expertise:
Peter advises on a wide range of commercial dispute resolution work. He specialises in partnership and LLP disputes,
director/shareholder disputes, the investigation and recovery of assets following fraud or insolvency, and banking disputes.
He is a CEDR accredited mediator and takes mediation appointments as well as acting for parties to mediations.
He gained first hand experience in setting up a legal practice when he co-founded The Ralph Garry Partnership (later Ralph Hume
Garry), of which he was managing partner.
He is a regular speaker on partnership and LLP law topics.
Career:
Peter trained with Blyth & Robinson in Norwich and qualified in 1981. He has held several partnership positions, including
at London firms Sacker & Partners, Payne Hicks Beach and Boodle Hatfield. In 1995 he co-founded The Ralph Garry Partnership
(later Ralph Hume Garry) and joined Cripps Harries Hall LLP as a partner in 2001.

Peter writes a regular partnership law column for The Law Society’s Gazette and frequently writes for other legal journals.
