Our IT
Using information technology to work smarter and provide an efficient service to our clients is taken seriously. The practice is committed to the continuing investment and development in this area. We actively work with clients to provide direct electronic access to key information based on individual needs.
Our IT systems are leading edge and are supported by vendors with well known expertise in their own technologies and the legal market place.
We use Extreme Networks for our network infrastructure, Hewlett-Packard for our computer equipment and Dell Equallogic for our information storage. Information is vital and to protect it we duplicate it nightly to enable remote recovery in the event of a disaster.
Systems are built internally using Microsoft technology. Our applications include Microsoft Office, Laserforms and pdfDocs, for document generation and comparison. We use Autonomy iManage for document storage management and Elite for practice management, time recording and billing. We use LexisNexis InterAction for client relationship management and Microsoft Exchange for internal email storage management.
All of these systems feed information into our award-winning Intranet called Purple Pages. The Intranet is authored internally and presents relevant and critical information to all our staff on a real-time basis. These skills are employed externally too. We make use of web technology to present extranet services to our clients that met their specific information and reporting needs.
